How long should we have been trying before testing?+
Under 35 — 12 months. 35+ — 6 months. With irregular cycles, no period off the pill, or a known thyroid issue, test now rather than waiting.
Is AMH publicly funded in NZ?+
AMH is generally out-of-pocket in NZ — usually requires a specialist referral. Her Form is direct-to-consumer with no referral needed, drawn at your home in Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch.
When in my cycle should I book the draw?+
Day 2–5 for FSH, LH, estradiol and prolactin; day 21 for progesterone (confirms ovulation). AMH and thyroid markers can be drawn any day. We help you time the draw correctly when you book.
Can I test while still on contraception?+
Yes — AMH, thyroid and iron stay reliable on most hormonal contraceptives. FSH, LH, estradiol and progesterone will be suppressed. We'll tell you which results are interpretable and whether a 2–3 month post-pill wait makes sense for you.
How much does a fertility test cost in NZ?+
Public funding for fertility bloods in NZ is limited and referral-gated. Private comprehensive panels typically run NZ$300–600+. Her Form pricing is shown in IDR and your NZD total is confirmed at checkout before you commit.
What happens after I get my results?+
You receive a written review by our health specialists alongside your results (7–14 working days). If you want to discuss next steps, Robyn is available for an optional 1:1 consult.
