Perimenopause test in Australia — at-home panel for Australian women.
A useful perimenopause test is the right combination of sex hormones, ovarian reserve and thyroid — drawn on the right cycle day — read against your symptoms. Most Australian GP panels run FSH and TSH and stop there.
Her Form sends a nurse to your home anywhere in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Gold Coast or Perth, runs the full panel through an accredited Australian lab partner, and Robyn is available for an optional 1:1 protocol consult. Transparent IDR pricing — we confirm your AUD total at checkout.
What we test (and why)
FSH + LH + estradiol — the perimenopause fingerprint.
Progesterone — falls first; the most under-tested marker in this transition.
AMH — ovarian reserve runway.
TSH + free T3 + free T4 + TPO antibodies — thyroid drives the same symptoms.
Iron, vitamin D, B12, metabolic markers — because it's rarely hormones alone.
When to test
Cycling: day 2–5 for FSH/LH/estradiol; day 21 for progesterone.
Irregular or on the pill/HRT: we'll tell you exactly which markers are worth running before you book.

When in my cycle should I test for perimenopause?+
Day 2–5 of your cycle (if you still have one) is the cleanest window for FSH, LH and estradiol. Progesterone is most informative 7 days after ovulation — roughly day 21 of a 28-day cycle. our health specialists reviews your symptom timeline before booking so the draw lands on the right day.
FSH was 'normal' but I still feel terrible — what now?+
Perimenopause FSH fluctuates dramatically month to month. A single 'normal' result misses early-stage perimenopause more often than not. Pair FSH with estradiol, AMH, TSH and progesterone over the right cycle day, and read symptoms alongside the numbers — that's how our health specialists builds the picture.
Can I test perimenopause on birth control or HRT?+
Combined oral contraceptives and HRT mask your true FSH, LH and estradiol. AMH, TSH and thyroid antibodies stay reliable. If you're on the pill or HRT, we'll tell you which markers are actionable and whether a brief pause makes sense.
How is the Perimenopause Package different from a GP blood test?+
Most GP panels run TSH and FSH and stop there. The Her Form Perimenopause Package runs 31 markers — full sex hormones, thyroid (TSH, free T3, free T4, antibodies), adrenal, cardiometabolic and bone — with a written specialist review by our health specialists and a women-specific protocol, not a 'within range, see you in a year'. Robyn is available for an optional 1:1 consult.
How long does it take to get perimenopause test results?+
Typically 7–14 working days from the home draw. You receive a written specialist review from our health specialists alongside your results — not just numbers on a printout — plus the option to book Robyn for an optional 1:1 consult if you want to talk through next steps.
