We're not trying to replace your GP — we're trying to give you the panel they don't have time to scope, drawn at home, with the women's-hormone interpretation they don't usually have a specialist on staff for. Most of our AU and NZ clients run Her Form alongside their GP and share results both ways.

Common shared-care patterns
Her Form runs the 31-marker perimenopause panel and writes the specialist review. You take it to your GP to discuss HRT options — most AU/NZ GPs prescribe directly from a complete panel.
Her Form runs AMH, sex hormones and thyroid; your GP refers to a fertility specialist or coordinates onward referral. Our specialist letter accelerates the IVF intake.
Most GPs only run TSH. Her Form runs TSH, free T3, free T4 and antibodies — many GPs prescribe levothyroxine or refer to endocrinology when the full panel paints a clearer picture.

Do I need to tell my GP I'm using Her Form?+
It's not required, but it's recommended. Most clients share the result PDF and our written specialist review with their GP — it gives the GP a complete picture and supports any prescription decisions.
Will my GP accept Her Form results?+
Yes — results come from an accredited pathology lab on standard pathology reports, with reference ranges and methodology your GP recognises.
Can my GP prescribe HRT based on Her Form bloods?+
Often yes, in AU and NZ. The bloods, your symptom history and our specialist's written interpretation give your GP the documentation they need. Final prescribing remains the GP's medical decision.
Can I claim Her Form through Medicare or PHARMAC?+
No — Her Form is private direct-to-consumer testing, not bulk-billed or publicly funded. Many international expat insurers reimburse with itemised receipts.
Will Her Form write a letter to my GP?+
Yes — on request, we provide a specialist letter summarising the result and our recommendations in a format suited to GP correspondence.
What if my GP disagrees with the interpretation?+
That's a good conversation to have. Our specialist is happy to discuss with your GP if helpful. Final care decisions stay between you and your prescribing doctor.
